I received my Ph.D. from the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Zhen Zou. My Ph.D. research focused on the role of gut bacteria in modulating mosquito vector competence and exploring sperm protein mechanisms affecting female mosquito fertility. Currently, in Perrimon's lab, I am interested in applying the existing Drosophila CRISPR-based broad genome screening technology to other cell lines, with the aim of expanding the genome engineering toolbox.
