The Boston transit system - The "T"The lab can easily be reached by the MBTA, Boston's subway system. Two branches service the Longwood Medical Area within walking distance of the lab. In addition, another branch provides service to Logan Airport. One only needs to change trains once to get from Logan to the Longwood Medical Area. This close-up map shows the route from Logan Airport to Longwood station on the MBTA.
The Airport and Longwood stops are highlighted in red. To change between the between the Blue and Green lines, transfer at Government Center.
The Green Line can bring you to the Longwood Area via either the "D" or "E" branch. For the "E" line, get off at the Longwood Medical Area stop, which is the third stop after the train exits the subway. For the "D" branch, get off at the Longwood stop, the second above-ground stop.
