Kyosuke Yanagawa, M.D., Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
I earned my Ph.D. from Osaka University (renamed "the University of Osaka" in 2025) in Japan, where I conducted my research in Dr. Tamotsu Yoshimori's lab in the Department of Genetics. My doctoral study focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of extracellular vesicle (EV) secretion, with a focus on their regulation by autophagy factors. In the Perrimon lab, I am particularly interested in investigating the biological role of Drosophila EVs in interorgan communication.
