Postdoctoral Fellow
Doruk Savas

I received my B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, where I studied the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases. I then completed my Ph.D. in the Neuroscience Graduate Program at Brown University, where my research focused on neural circuit tracing, neurotransmission, and the development of genetic tools. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Perrimon Lab, where my work centers on interorgan communication and the development of nanobody-based genetic tools.
