The DRSC/TRiP-FGR Director, Stephanie Mohr, will be co-teaching a short course on cell-based screening and single-cell studies, as well as co-moderating a discussion session, at the 17th Annual World Preclinical Congress.

The 2017 IGTRCN Technical Short Course "Insect Genetic Technologies: Theory and Practice" will take place from July 23 to 28, 2017 at the University of Maryland College Park. The application deadline is May 1, 2017.

The 2017 DrosAfrica workshop, " Drosophila melanogaster in Biomedical Reserach: Low Cost and Profitable," will take place July 17-28, 2017, at the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria. Application deadline May 5, 2017.

The Kavli Workshop on Neural Circuits and Behavior of Drosophila has been announced by the HHMI Janelia Research Campus. The workshop takes place in Crete. The registration deadline is Feb. 1, 2017.
